We're looking for a driven, mission-minded Graphic Design Specialist to join our flock as a Happiness Engineer. This role is all about turning ideas into visuals that inspire action and help more churches discover and succeed with Flocknote.
You'll design creative materials that reflect Flocknote's voice and values - from RFPs and flyers to website graphics, email graphics, and in-app promotional materials. Working closely with our Marketing Team, you'll bring ideas to life through clear, engaging, and cohesive design that connects with church leaders and showcases the power of Flocknote.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design & Creative
- Create on-brand designs across a variety of mediums (RFPs, flyers, website graphics, email layouts, UI sales materials, etc.)
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop visual strategies and design solutions that align with Flocknote's mission and goals
- Offer design-related feedback and insights to improve Flocknote's tools and user experience
Customer Support & Insights
- Provide excellent customer support via email and phone, helping churches succeed with Flocknote
- Build relationships with church leaders and organizations who might benefit from Flocknote
- Communicate insights from customers to improve our tools and services
- Conduct product demos and showcase how Flocknote can best serve different organizations
- Troubleshoot, problem-solve, and assist in testing new features
- Be an active team member contributing to the future direction of the company
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong design skills with a sharp eye for layout, color, and typography
- Experience creating marketing materials such as flyers, graphics, web content, and email layouts
- Proficiency with design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Figma, or similar)
- Ability to translate written ideas into compelling visuals
- Tech-savvy, adaptable, and eager to learn
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and feedback skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive self-starter who takes initiative and follows through
- Genuine love of people and desire to help them succeed
- Bonus: experience in leadership, sales, webinars, writing, marketing, ministry, or UI/web design

ONBOARDING & TEAM INTEGRATION
All new Happiness Engineers begin in customer support to gain a deep understanding of our customers, products, and mission. After onboarding, this role primarily collaborates with the Marketing Team while maintaining a foothold in customer support.
Because we're a deeply customer-centric company, every Happiness Engineer (regardless of specialty) stays connected to our users through ongoing support work to ensure we never lose touch with their needs and experience.
