Description We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team in Richmond, Virginia, on a contract basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in guiding financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management within the healthcare industry and a proven ability to lead teams effectively. Responsibilities: - Provide strategic financial advice to the organization and its Board, ensuring alignment with long-term goals. - Develop and oversee comprehensive financial strategies, including forecasting and risk management. - Manage budgeting processes, financial reporting, audits, and compliance with regulatory standards. - Lead capital planning initiatives, investment strategies, and cultivate strategic partnerships. - Act as the primary financial liaison, maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. - Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering growth and collaboration. - Enhance financial systems and processes to drive innovation and operational efficiency. Requirements - 7+ years of experience in financial leadership roles, preferably within the healthcare sector. - Expertise in cash flow analysis, ensuring effective management of financial resources. - Proven ability to oversee capital management and strategic financial planning. - Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards. - Familiarity with enterprise risk management (ERM) practices to mitigate organizational risks. - Experience working with business systems to optimize financial operations. - Excellent communication and leadership skills for managing teams and stakeholder relationships.
