Job Description

About Us:

Only experienced alarm technicians or low voltage technicians apply.

Duties:

• Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings.
• Conduct site surveys to assess the best placement of alarm system components.
• Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems.
• Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation.
• Collaborate with team members to complete installations and service calls in a timely manner.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for installation and repair work.
• Experience in alarm system sales is a plus.
• Familiarity with low voltage systems and wiring.
• Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and system designs.
• Mechanical knowledge for mounting equipment and running wires.
• Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues with alarm systems.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic blueprint reading skills for understanding building layouts.
• Knowledge of fire sprinkler fitting is a plus.
