As a credentialed ObGyn Physician Assistant, you'll work closely with specialist physicians, supporting inpatient services. You'll be a key part of our healthcare team, collaborating to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients and their families. **What You'll Do:** **Obstetrics:** + Assist Obstetricians with patient care and deliveries. + Perform procedures. + Maintain competency in CPN. **Surgical Services:** + Support surgeons with perioperative care. + Perform surgical procedures + Maintain competency in CPOE. **Schedule:** + 12 hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm to 7am) + May need to fill weekend and holiday shifts. + Minimum 1-2 shifts per month. **What You'll Bring:** **Education:** + **Required:** Graduate of an ARC-PA approved Physician Assistant program. + **Preferred:** Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with a specialty focus. **Experience:** + **Required:** Clinical experience in Labor and Delivery; **BLS, ACLS,** and **NRP** certifications. + **Required:** At least 6 months of clinical experience in the specialty. + **Obstetrics:** Experience with labor and vaginal delivery, postpartum care, cervical ripening agents, and fetal heart monitoring. + **Surgical Services:** Experience witin the perioperative environment including first assist role as well as managing surgical patients. **Other Skills/Knowledge:** + **Required Life Support Certifications:** + Obstetrics: **NRP, BLS** + Surgical Services: **ACLS** + Ability to first assist in the operating room. + Proficiency in performing bedside procedures. + Strong collaborative skills for patient management. + Basic computer skills. + Excellent communication skills in English (read, write, speak). _Beth Israel Lahey Health, including all of its employing entities, are a purpose-driven, values-based organization that unites our workforce of people who provide exceptional health care to everyone we serve._ _All of the employing entities of Beth Israel Lahey Health maintain policies of equal employment opportunity and non-discrimination in employment. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
