**Machine Shop Tool Room Expeditor** **On-site** | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM **Position Summary:** We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Tool Room Expeditor to support daily operations within our tool room department. This position plays a key role in ensuring tools, materials, and equipment are maintained, organized, and readily available for tool makers. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, familiarity with a machine shop environment, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. **Key Responsibilities:** + Perform daily inspection audits on fork trucks, overhead cranes, and shop equipment. + Check steel inventories and replenish materials as needed. + Fill coolant and wash tanks daily, and maintain proper oil levels on all machines in the tool room. + Change DI resin on wire machines as required. + Safely move dies between workbenches and grinders for servicing. + Manage the flow of tools within the department, ensuring tool makers have what they need to maintain workflow. + Communicate effectively with the supervisor regarding material needs, potential delays, or maintenance issues. + Monitor inventory levels of steel, DI resin, shop towels, coolant, and other consumables to prevent stockouts. **Top Skills & Qualifications:** + 1 year of Machine Shop and Forklift driving experience + Hardworking with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. + Experience in or familiarity with a machine shop environment. + Ability to maintain a professional and respectful work environment + Dependable, safety-conscious, and proactive in maintaining workflow efficiency. **Pay Details:** $21.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
