**Low Voltage Technician**
**Job Description**
As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing low voltage and fiber optic cables. You will be required to run cables between testing equipment and read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Utilizing hand and power tools will be essential in performing tasks efficiently.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install low voltage and fiber optic cables.
+ Run cables between testing equipment.
+ Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
+ Utilize hand and power tools for installation and maintenance.
+ Troubleshoot and repair network cabling, panel wiring, and electrical circuits.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 4 years of experience in low voltage cabling.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Proficiency in cable installation and repair.
+ Experience with hand tools and industrial equipment.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in installing fiber optic cables.
+ Commercial electrical experience is a plus.
+ Familiarity with testing equipment and computer wiring.

**Work Environment**
You will start on a project at a facility in La Vergne, TN, focusing on running computer cabling between testing equipment using low voltage and fiber optic cabling. The work shifts are from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Once this project concludes, you will transition to another project in the Nashville area. Employees working over 60 miles from the office or job site are eligible for a per diem.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vergne, TN.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
