We partner with our Nurses at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Medical Simulation Specialist is responsible for integrating, maintaining, and operating computer and audio-video (AV) technology. This includes manikin and surrounding simulation lab equipment. The Medical Simulation Specialist plays an essential role in facilitating medical simulation for the division. **What you will do in this role:** + You will monitor and ensure simulation- and education-based technologies are maintained to ensure minimal downtime. + You will assess and remedy equipment failures in a timely fashion. + You will evaluate simulation- and education-based technology results to identify opportunities for improvement in internal or external customer satisfaction and/or patient experience. + You will operate and assist with the simulators and task trainers for all types of training sessions. + You will provide orientation, consultation, and support for simulation laboratory procedures. This will include the location and use of materials and operation of equipment. + You will identify performance opportunities or training needs related to clinical simulation.
