The work will be challenging, but always rewarding. **It's Work That Matters.** **Overview** **Schedule:** Monday-Friday: 9:00am-5:00pm **Purpose Statement/Position Summary** : Sell merchandise, receive payments, provide excellent customer service, receive merchandise into inventory system, stock and display merchandise, and assist with quarterly inventory audit. **Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience** : 1+ year's retail sales experience. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required** : Ability to serve customers in cordial, helpful manner. Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations such as determining total purchases. Ability to communicate effectively. Proficient with basic technology and Microsoft Office programs. **Preferred** : Point-of-sale and inventory experience. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. **Working Conditions/Physical Demands** : Considerable standing; stooping, reaching. May climb ladder to reach merchandise. Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds. **Equipment/Machines Used** : POS system, credit card machine, fax/copy machine, adding machine, and laminating machine. **Education/Licensure/Certification** : High school diploma or equivalent. **Pay Scale Information** $43,680.00-$53,581.00 CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
