Long-Term Part-Time Housekeeper  – Wilton, CT

Wilton, CT | Long-Term Part-Time Monday – Friday | $38–$40/hour | Predictable 4-hour block, AM or PM | Live-Out | Occasional Overnights

About the Household We are a warm, LGBTQ household seeking a reliable and experienced part-time housekeeper for a 5,500 sq. ft. home with:

• 2 adults
• 1 teenager (16 years old)
• 2 Labrador Retrievers (10 & 3 years old)

This is a housekeeper/full-charge or executive housekeeper role with no childcare responsibilities.

Position Overview The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing all levels of housekeeping while maintaining predictability and consistency within a 4-hour daily window. Occasional overnight coverage for the dogs may be required when the family travels.

Key Responsibilities

• Light to heavy tasks, including tidying, dishes, laundry, making beds, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, deep cleaning, rotating tasks, and formal home upkeep
• Organization projects: closets, pantry, toys, and other household spaces
• Pet care: feeding, walking, vet appointments, occasional overnight coverage
• Manage vendor access (HVAC, landscaper, exterminator, repair personnel) during scheduled hours
• Monitor household supplies and notify the family when items need replenishing

Schedule

• Monday – Friday between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, same block each day (flexible AM or PM)
• Occasional overnights as needed

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a housekeeper, full-charge housekeeper, or executive housekeeper
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in an LGBTQ household
• Reliable, proactive, and professional

Compensation & Benefits

• $38–$40/hour, based on experience
