Job Description An environmental specialist ensures compliance with environmental regulations through audits, reporting, and managing waste and permits. This role involves collaborating with various agencies, implementing corporate policies, conducting field reviews, training staff, and coordinating with vendors for services like waste disposal and tank maintenance. A bachelor's degree in a related field, experience in environmental compliance (preferably in transportation/logistics), and knowledge of relevant state and federal regulations are typically required.
