knowledgeable Accountant & Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accountancy & tax preparation. The ability to analyze financial data and provide exceptional customer service is a plus. This role requires a solid understanding of tax regulations and financial concepts. Responsibilities Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. Analyze financial information to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate records and streamline the tax preparation process. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering guidance on tax-related matters. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for tax filings. Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and financial regulations. Assist in bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring accuracy in financial records. Conduct financial analysis to identify potential deductions or credits for clients. Experience Proven experience in tax preparation is preferred. Experience with OLTPro tax software would be beneficial, but not required. Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks is required. Proficient math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for thorough review of financial documents. Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and address their needs. Experience with 10 key typing for efficient data entry is beneficial.
